Install

Mac: open KeyScout-mac.pkg and follow the installer. It's signed and notarized by Apple, so it opens normally. Needs Python 3.9 or newer; the installer tells you if it's missing.
Windows: unzip, then double-click Install KeyScout. No admin rights needed; it installs Python for you if it's missing. Windows may show a security prompt the first time because the early-access installer isn't code-signed yet: choose Run (or More info, then Run anyway).

KeyScout opens in your browser at a private address only your computer can reach. Your keys stay in an encrypted vault on your own computer.

Uninstall

Double-click Uninstall KeyScout in your KeyScout folder. It keeps your vault and license unless you choose to delete them.

Check a download: shasum -a 256 KeyScout-mac.pkg on Mac, Get-FileHash KeyScout-windows.zip on Windows, and compare with the SHA-256 above or SHA256SUMS.txt.
